AURA, in association with WHCC Security Services, provides Specialized Event Response Teams (SERT). Our teams consist of cross trained members who have broad experience and expertise in counterterrorism, heavy weapons, tactics and providing medical care during high stressed environments.
The goal of SERT is to provide overwatch to medium and large scale events, blending seamlessly into regular operations. SERT acts quickly, if and when, a potential act of aggressive deadly behavior (e.g. active shooter) presents itself. SERT's main objective is to immediately execute a focused response including prevention, response, mitigation, and, when necessary, elimination of threats while rapidly deploying expert level medical assets, before local law enforcement and ambulances arrive.
Our members train and work with the best of the best in response to domestic terrorism and acts of aggressive deadly behavior, having backgrounds from the New York City Police Department (NYPD), Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) and United States Military.
