Our Instructors from Rescue Training Institute, Inc., Emergency Aid Training, Inc. & Long Island EMS Training, Inc. ran the Youth & Adult Skills Competition for the New York State Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Association during their Pulse Check 2017 conference. Organizations throughout New York State participated in the competition where (2) scenarios were given.

Emergency Aid Training, Inc. & Fordham University EMS's relationship started in 2011. Starting at the annual FUEMS Dinner Dance EAT EMS started a tradition of donating an item for the Crew Room to say thank you to all the FUEMS volunteers. At the 2017 FUEMS Dinner Dance the Officers & Members asked us to donate to the Yadira Arroyo Fund instead of to them. FDNY EMT Yadira Arroyo was tragically killed in the line of duty on March 16, 2017.

Kevin Mahoney, CEO of AURA PPTC, Inc. was recognized by Fordham University Emergency Medical Services by receiving the "Honorary Chief of Medical Operation Award." He was presented thus award for his continuous help and guidance to them while being the EMT Program Director & Administrator of Emergency Aid Training, Inc.
