CITIZEN RESPONSE TO ACTIVE SHOOTING'S AND AGGRESSIVE DEADLY BEHAVIOR INCIDENTS WORKSHOP
This citizens response workshop will begin to prepare your facilities staff on what they should do if immediately confronted with an Active Shooter or an Aggressive Deadly Behavior Incident. Each major deadly incident that has occurred recently in our nation has proven to show that the individuals, staff or victims who are present at the incident are the true first responders and will have the most impact on the victim's life. This course will teach proven strategies to guide individuals to survive during an event, first aid & treatment options and actions that can be taken to assist responding Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS personnel.

NAEMT's Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) teaches EMS practitioners and other prehospital providers how to respond to and care for patients in a civilian tactical environment. It is designed to decrease preventable deaths in a tactical situation. The course course covers the following topics:
AURA has staff members with significant experience as instructors and in the field, who work various agencies throughout the United States. Most of the teams members have worked within the New York City area for f the New York City Fire Department (Bureau of EMS, Fire Operations and the Counter Terrorism Task Force) and the New York City Police Department (Emergency Service Unit/SWAT, Strategic Response Group). Additionally, many of our staff members have various roles in the United States Armed Forces and many Military Deployments.
